Great story and very well written. I would love to speculate on this but I feel as though I'm missing a lot of information needed. My only thought for a possible solution would be to increase via stocking, the numbers of fish that consume copepods. However, these would likely be fish that would outcompete the shad for the striper stripers so it may be a catch 22. Can't wait to see part 4.
