Your right about the exspense, should have done it 20 years ago. However, given the cost of transporting anything, a pipeline would be a permenant solution to a problem that is not ever going to go away, and will probably only get worse. Bringing the sand from Oregan Inlet in any way would be better than what they are donig now. There is enough sand to build up the beaches and extend them back out.
