Probably would be easier and cheaper to pump it out of Oregon Inlet into a pile and move the sand in dump trucks. I think people expect more than what can be done. From what I've seen the sand is just going to build up what's already on the beach not create a new beach out in the water. It's good to have high beach and a double dune line during storms, stops overwash.
