Sand and Pipeline

Like everyone, sad to see the beaches retreat by feet each year. Reclaimed sand replenishment sounds good, but the retreat soundward is inevitable. As King says dumping high probably best. At the waterline it'll just quickly wash away. The pipeline suggestion reminds me of occurence at a tank farm in Southeast Asia in late 60's. Not fishing related but still humorous. Had group of VIP's getting the "dog and pony show" which included the new JP4 (jet fuel) pipeline from the port to the air base. 1Lt was just showing the glass inspection section of the line, saying how pristine and state of the art the line was when a 2/8" board went floating by!! Priceless.
