That's good line but you can cut your finger or hand on it, casting or grabbing the line with a fish on. I like using mono. That size hook is good for bluefish and flounder, a little too big for sea mullet and spot. I use an 8/0 size circle hook on a fish finder rig for bigger live bait.

Three posts below with pictures I did awhile back about my system for the beach in this area.

This makes life easier.
