Sand Fleas

Just so it looks good on the hook, sea mullet like a lot of bloodworm.

I've seen bags of sand fleas in TW's freezer, I haven't tried them. I tried to do it myself before and didn't have any luck. I might not have done it right from what I've read on a Florida board they have to be dipped in boiling water before freezing or they get mushy.

The sand fleas aren't always out like if it's cloudy they can all disappear, they seem to move around and go out to the outer bar or shoals. When they are out those square wire baskets with the long metal handle at the tackle shops are great, find a big spot of Vs and pull it through the sand when the wave is going out and you'll get all you want.

Keep them covered in damp sand in a little bucket on ice in the cooler, drain the pee out every day and they will keep several days.
