I have had some luck on the Northern Beaches with fish finder rigs. Mostly for Puppies. As far as the bloodworms. Fish Bites always work as well as the real ones as far as I have found. Concerning the cut bait and shrimp, did you use the tackle shop frozen whatever (skunked)or go to a fish market and get the fresh. Go get some spot fillets and some small fresh shrimp from a fish market, it will make a difference. Also that beach is usually really flat. Look for blue water. The water South of Duck Pier had some holes 2 weeks ago.
