Lady on the pier, this year, told me they soak blue fillets in Ginger Ale for about a half hour or so. I tried it and put the filets skin side down on foil, greased with mayonaise, add salt, pepper, then topped w/ sliced bits of pineapple, and add drops of hot sauce on the pineapple pieces. Broil close to the top heat for about 10 min. per inch. I did rotate the baking sheet they were on about half way through.
Had a little Asian white sauce for dip...right tasty if you want to keep a few little blues to try this on.
You decide if you like to cook longer or shorter. The house didn't semell fishy afterward; if anyone would appreciate that.
