Re: The roads. Gotta ask yourself how do some people get licenses. Tailgating, not yielding at on ramps, cell phones, watchin various screens on dashboard, putting on makeup (yes seen that too).
Re: Break ins. All about drugs. Paradise lost! Have mentioned before in he 80's no house or car doors were locked and kids were pretty much allowed to roam.
Story. Whalehead beach. One evening oldest daughter did not return from beach walk. As minutes went by we feared the worst. Notified police. She showed up about 2 hours after sunset unscathed. During her walk she ran into lost boy. She walked w/ him for hours as he tried to remember where he started from. She walked him off beach at every public access on Lighthouse Dr. that night until he recognized house they were renting.
Re: Mosquitos...perfect as am a magnet! From what you say expect to see the mother of mosquitos there again. The large suckers w/ the swept wings.
Re: Airports. This Capt had over 100 takeoffs and landings working for the Navy after the Army. Several in Army were nail biters. Odds after so many flights not good. Haven't flown since retirement from last job w/ DoD.
And, with a van loaded up to windows each trip down, how would transport of those goods happen...unless ship to you ahead of time:):).
