I'd go with a weight forward sinking line, a 10 foot,and a 10 lb leader. Clousers will work great. Add some poppers and zonker flies (black rabbit fur eels)to your arsenal and hit the sounds. If you have some shiny streamers, use them also. Try wading around the Wildlife pier next to Basnight's restaurant on the causeway. It is very easy to navigate and has been full of fish lately. Look out for snakes everywhere you go. Most are harmless but we have a good population of Cottonmouths and some canebrake rattlers too.
