Grubs

I think grubs are probably one of the most reliable artificial baits made , right up there with spoons and bucktails. Usually if you can find the right speed to fish them at , they'll produce a few fish. I've always liked darker or natural colors for smallmouth , brighter colors for crappie and saltwater fish. I couldn't put a number on the fish I've caught on white , yellow , and black Mister Twisters over the years.

Power bait was making a brown grub with a green/chartreuse tail. I've had a lot of luck with those on the New river.
