Do the Blue's still blitz the beaches the way they did a couple decades ago? I've heard they don't anymore. I've been down in the fall and late fall when they did but I guess that was in the 80's. And I had never heard that there would be no birds if the Blue's were in with Skates. Why is that? Not doubting you, just curious. Also, when speaking with the locals they always mention using fresh Bunker for bait, Now Bunker is the same as Mullet or Menhaden, right? I always stopped at a tackle shop for mullet and then used whatever I caught with that as bait, Croaker, Spot, small blues all seemed to work, though I don't think the spot hit cut bait. Shrimp and blood worms they hit. Spot won't even hit Squid will they?
