Freezing Corn

I never have had any trouble freezing corn on the cob. I just clean it and put the cobs in a single layer in a gallon size ziplock freezer bag then stack the bags on top of each other. I don't do anything to it and it's just as good as new.
I stock up on it when it's in and on sale at Food Lion, same price as the road side stands. People look at you like your crazy buying a lot of corn. Last year it was silver queen and some kind of yellow corn that was good mixed together in their corn pile.
I've tried to grow silver queen but have had trouble with mold.
