All very sound advice King. I buy frozen veggies and have switched from canning things out of the garden to freezing them. Really simple to do. Fixed fried corn the other night. It has bacon, onion, potato, and corn in it. Wife said it was the best I had ever fixed. Had zero salt, used powdered garlic, onion powder, and black pepper.
Haven't had but one blooming onion since my heart attack in 99 and I tell you, it didn't taste all that good. Funny how your taste buds change.
