Capt D. is right on this one (as he is w/ most everything , excluding delicious skate wings). It's mainly big changes for HI and I guess maybe Ocracoke too - I've yet to read the entire set of new rules. Really gonna be a fiasco , in my humble opinion.

As I heard the story on Audobon's land sale - it was donated as a bird refuge or wilderness area etc. and they sold it to a developer. Pretty crappy thing to do for a "conservation" minded organization.

Sorry for my vague post above , and I certainly don't want to take away from Rick's post about the billboards and the killing of so many animals. The other side likes to paint fishermen as bad guys and we have to jump through hoops.

I'd like to see a bird watching permit put into effect. They could make them all learn how to do the chicken dance. :):):)
