Now I'll admit I'm a tourist but a respectful one. I worked maintenance for PA State Parks for 34 years and know what "tourons" do so I'm ever mindful of it.

That being said I do have a "touron" story. My son and I were surf fishing (he for the first time) about a mile north from Nags Head Pier. Of course by mid morning the swimmers started to swarm and a couple swam through our lines and told us not to hook them. Boy had I had the chance!! Not 15 minutes later a surfer came dangerously close to our lines and would have gotten hooked had he caught one. Needless to say we packed up and waited til the evening while everyone else was out feeding their faces.

Cap't we do leave the area and the rental generally better than we find it.
