Now you gotta work w/ us on this. Its an annual thing.

Am sure if you've been visiting for years you'll have some stories to tell too. If you're fairly new, you may enjoy some of the stories and history thats usually mentioned, as well as who/what to watch out for.

Btw, bet you don't bring a loud boom box to the beach, tell your kids it's OK to relieve themselves against the dunes, let your dogs roam free, park in no parking zones, drive over the "fog" lines on Rt 12, litter, dig and leave 4 foot deep holes on the beach overnite, leave your bonfire burning or smoldering when you leave, allow your kids to drink alcoholic beverages on the beach and not have them clean up the empties, etc., etc. Oooooooh, its so easy to get carried away when you can remember cottages w/ no phones or TV's, when you could leave your car and the cottage unlocked, when your kids could take nite walks on the beach w/o an adult. And the horses roamed wild, and the vegetable truck came by once a week, etc., etc.

Regulars posting here respect others and their property,
and if not a local, leave their rentals and its property in as good as, or in better shape, than when they arrived.

And yeah, when growing up, our milkmans truck was pulled by a horse.
