I'm new to this site so I thought I'd give you an idea about me. I know according to some of the questions I've asked it seams like I'm new to fishing,I'm only 31 now but one of my earliest memories was on the water. My grandfather was a crabber out of hyde county and he lived on slades creek just off the Pungo river. I remember going out with him to check his pots and he pulled his flat bottom boat up on one of the grass beds for us to take a break and have a snack. My dad says he always kept nutty bars in his cooler and I can remember sitting on the cooler eating one and drinking a drink. He passed away when I was 5 years old so I missed out on many good fishing trips with him I still fish that area a lot and to this day when I go fishing there's a nutty bar on board and that's the only time I eat them. I don't have a lot of memories of him but its that one that counts.
