Try Bobs in Duck. At first they will give you the charter and buy my 49.95 combo act.If you make it clear that you know how to fish you will get some good info.Bob is retiring in Aug. but Jr. is taking over, seems like a good guy.Been buying from him for 25 years Years ago I use to go in and get the everything is biting story,then used to tell him not to BS me, and finally got the real story.Good or bad.Most of the guys on the North beaches are used to catering to the novice tourist fisherman.Thats how they make their money, can't blame them.Let them know you know what you are doing and they will help you.
