King runs this message board. Nice guy and very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing the Outer Banks. He hasn't been posting as often lately - I assume he's been busy.

He'll post a fishing report for you if he's heard anything , but it might be the weekend before he is around.

As far as piers go , Avalon Pier would be closest to you and I think they do pretty good off of it at times.
