Were you using heavers or just standard light tackle in the wash? I’m thinking of fishing the end of the jetty on the south side of the inlet. (Pea Island side).
How bout kayak fishing in the sound around KDH area? There is a hot trout spot up around the Wright Bros. Nature trail area but I think that is more towards the beginning of summer not sure if there would be anything in that area or not in October.
1 Any thoughts?
