Thanks Yakman! A lot of good info. No intensions of rooky yaking around OI but will be trying my luck around KDH. I have fished the Conowingo hydro dam as well for stripper over in MD. That's an adventure in itself.
I have fished in Delaware off the jetty at Reedy Pt. several years ago. Was working out of town and always keep the gear with me especially when I'm near the coast.
Caught a nice striper one evening off the southern jetty, prob. about a 40" incher. That was the fastest I have ever landed a large fish in my life I believe. I set the hook and it took off straight for shore. I reeled with everything I had just to keep tension on the line. took a hole of about 10 sec. I think. I said welp, that was fun......not!Biggest Red I ever caught was in Chincotegue VA. was working on Wallops Island at the time, stayed ther all summer for work. got to be pretty good acquaintances with tac. shop owner. They asked me how did even know what a red fish was being from the mtns. of PA. LOL.....
I'll check out the website you suggested and see what the talk is. If anyone else has any info. I'm all ears...or should I say eyes..
