Alot of similarities as i grew up in the 60's , although no grave yards . We were out from dawn to dusk , got the whistle from the ole man for dinner and then back out for man-hunt , football under the street lights or just plain doing stupid stuff . One of our favs was war , we all had either the crossman 760's or daisy's with the rule that 2 pumps maximum and no head shots allowed ..LOLOL we ruled those woods for years and had a ball ! Then sports took over ....basketball all night , homerun derby all day , street hockey , riding our bikes all over creation ...then at the tender age of 15 ...Budweiser came into our lives ! LOLOLOL
Addiction to fishing came along a lot later than most but I really enjoy the absolute nothingless of casting out in the surf and just day dreaming the afternoon away with a cold one . The Mrs's doesn't get it so she reads or shell hunts or naps . ahhhhhhh quiet !!!!!!! LOLOL
The one thing I can say from reading the Capt's and Jim's as well as pretty much the rest of us i guess is that VIDEO games were pretty much not there. Something we really need to pass on .
Thanks Capt for bringing back some special times .
