Thanks for the great info Jap, much appreciated, you can never have too much! Heh, being from Detroit, my whole family has worked in the auto industry, so I've always been given the same advice that your great-grandfather gave you:)

I've been considering a high end Penn for awhile, but I had heard that that some of the manufacturing was moved overseas and parts are now harder to come by.

Seeing the video you posted, I think the TorQue will be the way to go for me; I like my hunting and fishing gear to be able to take a beating and still be reliable without too much fussing with it.

Oh man, those ZeeBaas reels look beautiful, but they're a bit out of my price range at the moment. With some luck, I'll be able to pick one up for our late October trip.
