I lost my entire pole..It went flying out of my pole holder, while I was fishing 20 feet away with a lure.
at first I heard a splash near the bank, and I turned and Looked, I thought w0w!! a big fish just jumped close to the bank!! I went over towards the splash and relized ol NO! MY PENN REEL!! HAHA!!!! So I thought how in hell am I gonna get my pole and reel back! I was on a pond so it wasnt like the ocean or a big Lake, I cut off my Lure and tied On a clarkspoon for saltwater, On the first cast I snaged the line *attached to my pole* HOW LUCKY! was that!

When I got the spoon back the dam line was caught in the o-ring on the spoon!! HAHAHA! I was like what are the chances, but even better was the 10lb Largemouth Bass on the other end! Got to love Shad cut bait!! lesson learned dont leave your poles un-attended! even in a holder.
