A couple of guys I worked with at the time(10-12 years ago) used to fish there and took me with them. We didn't park at the entrance. We parked along the road and hiked a trail down to somewhere in the middle. I fished up stream. I remember a low water bridge and a spot where what I believe was lime had been deposited for pH control. I remember it rained hard that day, the water rose and it was dicy crossing the river to hike back out.

A co-worker who recently retired digs ramps in that area. My ramp hunting grounds are near Laurel Fork. WV is full of beautiful country. Another one time fishing trip in WV was on a 12 mile smallmouth catch-and-release stretch of the Potomac. Great float. I want to do it again some day. Pre-fatherhood I spent most of my free time on the water somewhere.
