Ramp 1 can be good for surf fishing, it's the last parking area on the beach road in South Nags Head. For the kayaks try New Inlet further south on Pea Island. The boiler wreck at the visitor center on Pea Island is a popular walk over surf fishing spot. At Oregon Inlet the beach beside the rock jetty is good too.
