We were at Coquina Beach today and fished with no luck. I am new to fishing on the outer banks and need help in finding places to surf fish where we can walk as I have no four wheel drive, hopefully with close (or short drive) to restroom facilities. We also are seeking the best bait and hook to use for Spot, Bluefish and Flounder. I have always used shrimp and blood worms, but today was introduced to squid. OOOOH, how gross, but if it is the new thing then I'll try it again. As you said, no luck at all and with the sea as mixed up and rough, I didn't expect to catch anything, but really interested in finding a great place on the outer banks. Always go to Atlantic Beach area and usually fish incoming, SE wind. Any help would be appreciated. Happy fishing. Anne
