I don't have either one. I put a lid on my truckbed, made a rod holder for the underside and put all my stuff in there. Two main reasons, in Virginia it's ilegal to block your liscence plate from view, and second Most of the crime in the Outer banks is petty theft, so I like to be able to lock things up. If you go to islandfreepress.com you find the crime reports and most is from vehicles.

good luck on the fishing, we are headed to Rodanthe next saturday. Hope the spot are running
