Some Ideas For Fishing Carts

I've gotten several different kinds out of the dumpster at the trailer park and found out why they were there. If the wheels are rubber with air it will work. Wheelbarrow tires would be a good choice, don't use solid lawn mower tires. You won't make it 5 feet with solid tires on beach carts. Wood carts will wear you out in the sand, you can't move around far on the beach.
What I'm using now is the bigger Reels on Wheels Jr. Utility Cart from Bass Pro Shops, you have to put it together which wasn't too hard. I bungee cord the sand spikes and a wood bait board to the bottom, set the cooler on top of them and a beach chair on top of the cooler, rods broke down in the rod holders. It's been hit by a few waves and I haven't had any trouble, you have to roll the cart on the back wheels in the sand....
At one time I was using a hand pull wagon from Northern Tool I got on sale for about $40. The wagon looks like their green poly garden wagon, the bed is made out of plastic. The big wheels did real good in the sand if you want something to use at the beach and haul stuff around the yard at home. I laid the rods down in it by the cooler so the tips were out the back and laid the beach chair on top of the cooler then bungee corded it all down to the wagon. The cart does have holes around it for a rail which would be better. You might be able to find something like it for a better price....
