Good job on the home made, but like the guys said the pvc won't last in the sun. How heavy would one be out of treated 2x4"s? With big tires I would think it would be ok, if your pier fishing why couldn't you put a small tire on the front that swivels. That would be lousy in the sand but should work on wood.
