Fishbites vs. bloodworms:About 8-9 years ago, buddy that ownes a tackle shop took us out on the sound in his boat.Pulled out some samples that a salesman gave him called fishbites.We all laughed at them. Decided to put them to the test.Couple of guys used fishbites, the others bloodworms.The fishbite guys won.I think it is because they stay on the hook better, the fish can't tear them off and come back for the second bite.Also the crabs don't seem to like them.Still like fresh mullet and shrimp, when not using a fake bloodworm .Also have had luck with the squid fishbites.
