If you were to take your yak and put it over at Oden's Dock and paddle out the mouth of the creek you could catch plenty of undersized Spanish Mackerel and some Grey Trout and Bluefish...It's truly a shame that the NCDMF is stupid enough to not come up with a 10 fish per person bag limit of any size on the Spanish Mackerel....90% of the ones you throw back die anyway..What a bunch of f@#$ing idiots
