Way Back Machine. Circa 1983. Corolla.

Crabbin early morning south side of long pier to gazebo under construction w/ sons. Sittin on stairs to water. Hand lines. Chicken. "Extraordinary event". Lines apprx. 20 " long. Thrown to max length. Crabs literally runnin up lines to near hands. Brought back and cooked 52. Cookin documented on video. Watched video thru TV just last Christmas.

How's that old story start out?? Something like "it was the best of times". And it was then, before the building boom.
