If the water is cold enough you can catch some stripers off the beach near Org Inlet. I caught a 30lb striper and some puppy drum with cut mullet during Thanksgiving week, but didn't hear of anyone else catching any stripers. Also caught some speckled trout and puppy drum in the early morning using light tackle and some green w/ orange tail bass assasins. There were some small blues in the area too.

The fishing should be better this year if we have a colder fall. Most of the stripers stayed in VA Beach area last year.
