Oregon Inlet was opened. I'm not sure what it's going to be like this year. Probably more cold water tolerant fish like bluefish, trout, puppy drum, croakers, stripers.

If I remember right I did catch some black drum up close last year during early December in Kitty Hawk then it turned into spiny dog sharks one after the other about the middle of December on and were in the surf all winter.

I didn't fish the clear water days because it was too cold for me on those days, I went on southwest winds instead of northeast winds which probably would have been better....
