Yeah it was more of a hair raising noise than a whoop. I don't think I'm high enough in the mountains for trout.

The big deal here seems to be fishing the farm ponds for big carp even have a fishing tournament at one for them.

Local produce market has a small tackle shop inside specializing in making different kinds of homemade carp baits.

I might keep an eye on the summer water temperature and put some trout in there if it's staying cool is spring fed.
