had an experience with being hooked. fishing north fork shen. river. teaching now wife to cast a spinning reel. 2nd cast hooked me in ear lobe with a black rooster tail. looked like I had an earring. was kind of a hippie back then but not an earring guy. had to drive home with earring in right ear. she laughed all the way. was pretty funny. pushed hook thru and cut barb. still have lure.
