I take lean deer meat and combine equal weight of econo bacon plus one 12 or 16 oz.package of smoked bacon combined with Old Plantation sausage mix and flaked red peppers to taste,grind mixture medium and freeze in 1lb. vacuum bags. You must weigh deer meat and bacon as the sausage mix will do 25 lbs per pack.Makes great breakfast or great on the grill,I try to make 25 or 30 lbs. a year. The sausage mix is found in the meat dept. in most grocery stores
