Usually the highway department lawn mower does a good job grinding it all up but they haven't been cutting the grass lately.
That centipede grass the highway department uses along the roads here goes dormant during the winter.
I have seen the convicts out there before along the bypass, not often. I guess it might look bad for the beach.
Those are minimum security mostly 3 DUIs. I've heard they enjoy it finding music and other stuff people throw out the window.
Anyway you can't keep nice furniture in a rental house because it's going to get dinged up, I know it was the final straw for a few people.
I've had to help out in a old cottage court that's gone, it had a 2 year waiting list so I guess they were doing something right.
It was low end priced for a week and kept clean with a simple old beach house vibe, I think that's what that crowd liked about them.
The main living room used wood futon chairs and sofa with dark wine red cushions, heavy wood board style coffee table, one tv in the house.
The bedrooms were just a bed with a wood nightstand beside it with an old cheap vintage looking skinny lamp.
You needed to keep a bible in the nightstand drawer so that it might stop somebody from committing suicide.
Easy to sweep and spot mop wood floors, gave it a weekly shot of pump spray bug mix along the edges to keep the palmetto bugs away.
The routine was everything got dusted and wiped off including the dishes in the kitchen cabinet.
The stove was an old style white with electric burners, wrapped foil around the burner cups under them and oven just changed it out weekly.
The bathroom had to be really clean, sink, tub, the toilet both inside and outside, all mirrors had to be perfectly clean.
That's my experience with it and also had to do some maintance like replacing toilet parts, cut the grass.
Less can work and it's easier to maintain.
