Fall is here now. 37 degrees at 0900 hrs. 4th frost overnite since mid Sept. Trees about 1/3 into color. Nice by afternoons...in upper 60's.
High school football regular season winding down.
Pretty dry as the dire rain forecasts of last weekend did not materialize. Tryin to get deck cleared off (Mrs. Capt fightin that - in case Indian summer arrives).
Pumpkins overpriced...as high s $5.99 each. Corn (if you can find) = last of the season, and mostly starch. Clams
$3-$7 a dozen.
Goin to TN next week to visit sister. Hopefully will be a bit warmer there. Takin baker and all fixins for clam bake.
Packin bit of freshwater fishin gear,just in case chance to wet a line.
Saw that 12 took another overwash hit on HI.
