Just let me know. It's probably a six or seven hour drive from here to Rodanthe , so you're looking at a little less.

Fishing is picking up here , the leaves are just starting to turn , so it would be a good time to head up.

Don't know about the canoe , it would probably limit you to whatever cove the rental is in since it gets pretty dicey on the main channel with the striper boats and bass fishermen. I've seen people do it , but it's not for me.

Send me an email if you want , I live about a mile off of the lake , but I've been on just about all of it's 20,000 acres at some point.
