Suh,
As the OIL companies are planning on raising regular gas prices to $4.00 by May, this should about cripple the middle class angler. I understand that the alleged reason behind the increase in fuel prices is "an improving economy". HAH! No doubt our overflow of cash will also fund our beach driving. If we can pick up enough aluminum cans or have welfare take on deserving senior anglers ,that is.
And many thanks go out to Mr.Obama and the US Senate. If I wasn't already on the run, I would run for the Senate on the write in ballot. But I don't want to forment a landslide. (Or is that "ferment"?...If so, make mine a Mint Julip)
Be that is it may, My Fellow Anglers, we is going to take just so much of this mess. Before you know it, you will see us marching on the beaches, singing "WE SHALL be OVERCOME SOMEDAY" and other protest songs of the New Milleneum. God help us. Of course, if fish stocks continue to dive,and access to oceans,rivers,inlets and so forth be open to only the rich land owning barons, it won't make much difference,anyhow.
As I often warn by standers about anglers,"WATCH OUT! WE ARE REVOLTING!"
That always gets a hardy "Amen" and a round of applause, and sometimes a round of beer,as others help us "ferment" rebellion!
