Fished the last day we were there (Friday). Kept and cleaned 69 spots (released that many more) and 25 black drum by lunch. After lunch the trout bite was on. We caught 10 keepers and seen a few limits caught. Water cleared back up and wind settled some. No Red Drum for us. This was on the northern beaches. The people we ran into were super nice for the most part, great hospitality. Left there it was 62 degrees, 42 when we got home. Kinda makes me extra sad.
As far as Cavalier Motel, It was old. It was clean. It was economical. It was exactly what I expected and maybe a little more. I would consider staying there again. Thanks for the referral King.
