Do the commercial guys target Menhaden? And what for? Not a food fish.I can see how if their numbers are that low it is a huge problem.The feds seem to want to regulate prime fish. Flounder, trout, drum, stripers. But if there are no fish at the bottem of the food chain all thouse regs. don't mean a thing.Do you think the regs. are sort of not at the point of solving the problem.I guess, what came first the chicken or the egg.At which end did the decline start? People alway assume that is the taking of the fish at the top of the chain, but it may be the other way around.
