No parking at the pier.But if you are at Sanderling you can put in there and paddle. Sanderling is a great place, we have stayed there many times.Cobia should still be around.As long as you stay just off the outer bar in your yak you should be good to go.You can go inside the bar at high tide and have some success.Look for birds.
