When I was really little we lived in East Texas and my mother used to pick shrooms right out of the yard , we would eat them several times a week. Also used to pick other things to eat as well, salad creses being one, dandelions being another before dad would cut the grass.
then one day the government came on the news with a report that this was a bad thing, had something to do with other naturally grown things that at the time were just being discovered and outlawed. Never ate anything that didn't come from the store after that.
You guys ever have a problem with anything you picked?
