After doing some reading and studying on this, it seems it is highly unlikely to occur. According to a geologist I know who has studied these islands the "flank" that would be the culprit of a megatsunami, is not as unstable as previously suggested. There is no fault line the island sits on or near the island and no riffs or cuts in the flank to support a collapse. Only a violent volcanic eruption, which is unlikely, would have the possibility of causing a megatsunami. Even during eruptions, one scientist suggest it would take up to 10,000 years for the flank to collapse into the ocean. A lot of possibilities exist. Still wouldn't hurt to have an evacuation plan in tact, at least on a personal level.
