You Never Know

The tsunami in Japan brought back an old memory. I was wondering if anybody else got caught in a big wave at Oregon Inlet a long, long time ago. What I remember happened for those that weren't there it was a nice day with a lot of people fishing on the beach at Oregon Inlet. Then this huge wave came in out of nowhere, not like a normal wave. I'm not sure what happend after that besides trying to run and getting rolled around in the water. Everybody was holding on to the truck, our driver got washed up to the dunes and we were looking for him in the surf. I remember the wave taking every single cooler on the beach back out with it and all the people on the beach leaving as fast as they could go. I don't think anybody got hurt just wet.
