If'n its one of the 2 houses I'm thinkin of they are actually on Kohler Ct. which is at the end of America. And you thought you could throw me off:):)

Wife and I stay at Dr. Grimm's little OF house on E. Point Dr. for a week each summer before the kids and grandkids come down. Grimms is the yellow ranch on the north corner. Thats about 150 ft. north of your rental. That week is kind of a "charge the batteries" time for us before kids and grandkids arrive and we move to the big house in Waves for the rest of the month. If'n you've been there 1st week of July each year I've probably walked by w/ wife on occassion askin you "bucket full yet"?? Shame if you and me been there same time and didn't know it!!

Got plans for same rental summer comin??

Btw, what do you think of the new location of "Serendipty"?? Was talkin w/ the sellers wife last summer early one AM. She was sittin on beach w/ glass of wine at 0545 hrs. Soon as we started to talk about memories of the place she welled up and cried, and cried. Sad. If you didn't know, part of the sale agreement was that they could have a free week at the place for the 1st 5 years after the sale. They sold for apprx 1/4 of their purchase price.

Also, Re: Serendipity. When we thought it was going to be torn down, we bought one of the 3 pictures of the place Rick Nilson painted, to save our memories. Tho Serendiputy lived in the end, we'd still never part w/ the picture. Hangs in our sunroom now right across from my recliner.

And... were you down last fall in Nov. Think it was around week of the 21st. If not you missed what was... but wasn't billed as a NorEaster for about 5 days. Thought pier was a goner. 12 was closed just south of Bonner bridge for 15 hours 1 day, and flooded across in about 8 spots south of that for about 5 days. Could barely make it thru in "creep" riding center of the road. Btw, catching was non-existent pier, surf and sound. Strange days.
